Iris Amitola

Cutouts of rainbows collected from books, magazines, calendars, brochures and postcards arranged in relationship to arc and size on paper. “Iris” is the Greek personification of the rainbow and a messenger of the gods. “Amitola” is from Sioux legend where the first picture was painted upon the clouds by Amitola, a young chief.
